- Description:
- A view of a Board of Water and Light power house at a dam on the Grand River, during the flood of 1904. Large pieces of broken ice are visible. Many people walk or stand outside the power house on the ice. Several faint letters on the front of the photo mat may be the stamp of photographer Fred J. Wagenvoord, who created a souvenir book of similar photographs from the 1904 flood. The name "John Allen" is written on the back in pencil. Gift of Janice Bedford Nagele.
