- A group of French, Belgian, and Russian war prisoners at Reserve Lazarette III in Luebeck pose for a photograph. Note that the German orderlies are wearing black, white, and red arm bands, the German imperial colors. The Germans captured large numbers of wounded war prisoners during their drives into Belgium, France, and Russia early in the war.
