- Black and white photographic print depicting staff of the Pontchartrain Hotel, dated March, 1914. They are identified as E. E. Poppleton, John Faxon, Ben Fitch, Chas. Whiteing, W. D. Purdy, John McQuillan, N. A. Wright, and E. E. Pitts. Housed in a brown folder with an embossed flap.

- Black and white photograph of a cafe within the Russell House. A dining table beneath a white table cloth is set up in the foreground to the left of center. Glassware is on the table. The table is surrounded by three chairs with leather upholstery on the seat and backrest, as well as a forth chair with a triangular seat, and a semi-circular piece that extends around the chair to serve both as the arm rests and the back rest. A china cabinet stands against the wall behind the table. A chandelier incorporating antlers as well as a carved wooden figure of a woman is hung above the table. Two other dining tables are on the right edge of the photo. The recto is signed with the initials, "F.S." "Russell House," is handwritten on the verso.

A sign reads, "Canadian Pacific". Printed on verso: Pontchartrain Hotel and Hammond Building, Detroit, Mich. This View of Campus Martius shows the Hotel Pontchartrain. Soldiers and Sailors Monument built in 1881 at a cost of $70,000. The red building at right is the Hammond Building. The electric sign on top of building is one of the finest in the west and when in action gives a description of the famous Chariot Race of Ben Hur. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 8, 1915.

Printed on verso: The Charlevoix Hotel.- Located at 45 Park street, is one of the many handsome and commodious hotels that Detroit boasts of. It was erected in 1906, is eleven stories in height and is divided into 100 apartments. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 18, 1910.
