- Spindle and whorl in fairly good condition. Light brown wood with irregular surface texture. Decorated with very obscure incised circle around top. Spindle cracked and worn, and whorl pitted and worn. Length of whorl is 2.0 cm and length of spindle is 18.0 cm.

- Spindle with whorl in good condition. Light brown wood with fairly smooth surface, decorated with three concentric circles at the round of the whorl. The spindle is warped and slightly pitted.

- Off white ivory spindle whorl with two incised bands on top surface around center hole. The edge chipped in several places; cracked.

- Spindle whorl in good condition. Light brown wood with smooth surface texture. decorated with a single incised circle around the top. Length of whorl is 1.5 cm and length of spindle is 17.5 cm. The whorl is slightly worn. The spindle is broken.

- Spindle wound with cotton, in good condition. Light brown reed with very smooth, shiny surface and linen thread.; Spindle with thread. Reed, cotton (Karanis Revealed, Wilfong). Note by S. Davis on 9 July 2019 - the yarn / thread on the reed is linen, not cotton. Under magnification, the yarn shows the nodules characteristic of bast fibers and lacks the twists characteristic of cotton. With crossed polarized light the thread shows bright birifrigence in the colors of blue, green, and violet.; Part of a reed spindle shaft which is wrapped with spun linen yarn.
