- Located at 200 Foster Avenue North. On July 10, 1916, Foster Avenue School became a part of Lansing School system. It had previously been called Columbia Park School. The name change occured in 1917 when it was also remodeled. Additions were also made in 1918 and 1930.

- Located at 3426 Cedar Street South. Everett Elementary was orginally built in the 1850s and was named for Arthur Everett. An addition was made in the 1890s but demolished in 1960 and in 1923 and 1934 more additions were introduced. A new gym was built in 1937 and a lower floor in 1939. An extra upper floor was built in 1947 before being annexed to Lansing Schools in 1950. They operated within the high school buildings for a time. Contents include: PTA Scrapbooks and historical materials, Board and PTA meeting minutes, treasury records, payroll ledgers, monthly reports, book donation acknowledgements, Progressive Education Association books, flags, awards, and banners.

- Located at 620 Lesher Place. The land was purchased in 1892 for Lesher Place School. The name changed to East Park in 1895 and a second story was added soon after. A fire occurred din 1907 and a new building was constructed in 1916. The first PTA was organized in 1924 and in 1926 the name became Oak Park.

- Located at 1900 Cedar Street South at the southwest corner of Cedar and Mount Hope Road East. The land was purchased in 1924 and a v-shaped building was constructed. It was named for Walter H. French who held many titles in the community. The school opened in 1925 with additions made in 1957.

- Seventeen photographs from a Lansing School District training conference on the student teacher program. The photographs were taken at the Michigan Department of Conservation Training School, located on Higgins Lake, Roscommon, Michigan. Ninety-two educators from Lansing, including Superintendent Dwight Rich and Assistant Superintendent Forrest Averill, spent three days there in April, 1949, for the conference. The photographs show the group in various configurations at the dining lodge, outdoors at lakeside or in front of buildings, or indoors participating in training sessions. None of the people in the photographs have been identified. Part of the Carl Dalrymple collection.

- Located at 815 Fairview Avenue Norrth. The State Administrative Board issued 10 acres to Lansing Board of Education in 1953 for Fairview Elementary. The school opened on September 9, 1954. It was located on ten acres where the Boys Vocational School once stood on Fairview Avenue North and bounded by Grand River Avenue. Additions were made in 1954 and 1961.

- This is a 1938 booklet produced by the Lansing Public Schools for parents of students. An introductory note is signed by J. H. Sexton, then-superintendent. The booklet covers all aspects of educational activities in the Lansing schools, primarily social studies, science, home-making, physical education, cultural subjects, mathematics, and special consideration, which is a section on programs for special needs students. Many photographs are included.
