- Starting from East Michigan Avenue, 100 North Washington Avenue was Hardy's men's clothing, Thom McAn shoes was at 102 North Washington and the Ingham County Republican Headquarters was at 104 North Washington Avenue. Several small cut-out photos were affixed to this photo by City Planning Division staff who also made the notations.

Many observers are perched on electric poles to watch the parade. In the background are the main postal and telegraph office, the Metropole, a bar advertising "Cool Fresh Lager" on a banner, and many other businesses.
