- View if north end of the 300 block, east side. Covers six stores. Working south from East Shiawassee: Winkin' Pup Bar at 338, Leonard Wholesale Distributing storage at 334, Larry's Lunch at 332, Town Pump Bar at 328, American Cleaners at 326 and Leonard Wholesale Distributing at 322 North Washington Avenue. City Planning Division staff trimmed two photographs to make this composite. Because the images were taken at different times, automobiles seen in one portion are absent from the other. City Planning Division staff placed sequential numbers at the bottom of each piece: "G6" and "G7".

- Located on northeast corner of Washington Avenue North and Ottawa Street East. The Senate Grill is on the corner at 200, perhaps out of business at the time of the photo. The entry to Rich's Bar is seen, it was upstairs at #200 1/2. The PX Mart selling general merchandise was at 202 North Washington Avenue. Upstairs in Room 16 of the Dodge building was the F. J. Pliska Music Shop. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo and trimmed it.

- Lansing Broadcasting Co. building housed several businesses in addition to their WILS-AM radio station: Verra-Kleen Cleaners, and Baucom Barber; all used 407 as their address. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo and trimmed several photographs for assembly into this composite view. An automobile partially seen in one part is absent from the other because the images were taken at different times.

- Beginning with the Tussing Building on the right, the Ingham County Building is next. Next is the Lansing Woman's Club building with first-floor occupant First Church of Christ Scientist Reading Room. Michigan Millers Mutual Fire Insurance Company building is next with its first floor occupant, People's Finance Service. The last building in the block was known as the Cahill Building at the time of the photograph. The Cahill Building actually had 200 North Capitol Avenue as its address. - A composite view of the Tussing Building on the corner of North Washington Avenue and West Ottawa Street. The name "Tussing" can be seen in the building facade above the Rexall drugstore. City Planning Division staff trimmed three photographs for this composite view. Because the images do not match perfectly, gaps have been left in the composition shown. City Planning Division staff placed sequential numbers at the bottom of each piece: "C2", "C3", and "C4". Note that this composite and item 2015-06-003.V5.031 omit coverage of the Palms/Downtown Arts Theatre; it can be seen in other views including 2015-06-003.V2.009; 2015-06-003.V5.012; and 2015-06-003.V5.032.

- Starting from East Michigan Avenue, 100 North Washington Avenue was Hardy's men's clothing, Thom McAn shoes was at 102 North Washington and the Ingham County Republican Headquarters was at 104 North Washington Avenue. Several small cut-out photos were affixed to this photo by City Planning Division staff who also made the notations.
