- Description:
- A collection of postcards to do with the greater Lansing area, collected in part by the staff of the Lansing Public Library/CADL. Many of the items in the collection were donated by Jerry Lawler. The postcards have been broken down into 22 series plus MSU cards, similar to the series used in the David Caterino Postcard Collection (ID 2015-01-001). Because the Caterino collection is exhaustive and already contains duplicates of most cards, the Local History Postcard Collection has not been placed online by individual item. For more information please contact the library.

- Description:
- Dennis Preston doodled on napkins at several Biggby locations in the greater Lansing area for over ten years. The napkins were entertainment for customers as they waited for their drinks. If a customer liked a napkin, or more than one, they would give a $10 tip to the barista and take the napkin. The whole tip went completely to the barista. This series is a sampling of the many napkin doodles. The artist has noted that the doodles are not actual people. Dennis may have been inspired by someone, but these are not caricatures, they are all made up.
