Printed by Russell, Penge. The left half of the map shows the North West Territory, outlined in blue, while the right half of the map shows the Michigan Territory, outlined in yellow, with the Michigan Territory subdivided by counties, which are also outlined in yellow. Also featured are the northernmost portions of Illinois, outlined in purple, and Indiana, outlined in green. The perimeter of the map indicates lines of latitude and longitude. The scale used for distance is located on the right side of the sheet, outside of the map's border.

- Map entitled "Les Lacs du Canada et Nouvelle Angleterre" by Robert de Vaugondy and is dated 1749. The map is printed in French in black text on slightly yellowed woven paper. It shows the major lakes and rivers of the Great Lakes and New England regions of North America as well as the main towns and forts. The Great Lakes are outlined in light green lines and the New England states are delineated in light yellow and pink lines. The map title and scale are shown in a box in the lower left corner. Lines of latitude and longitude are labeled along the perimeter of the map area.

- One map entitled "Map of Michigan Roads." The map is printed in black ink on white paper and has yellow lines to highlight county boundaries. The map area covers the lower portion of the Lower Peninsula of the state from Saginaw Bay southward. It shows county and section boundaries, major cities and towns, lakes, and roads. Different line types are used to indicate the quality of road which is indicated as "Gravel," "Clay & Dirt," or "Unknown." Printed text beneath the title indicates that the map was drawn by "John F. Nellist, Grand Rapids, 1897."

- William Kimball talks about the rehabilitation of barns in Michigan, a presentation he developed as part of a Michigan Council for the Humanities grant. The first video is the main portion of Kimball's presentation. In the second video, Gail Crane talks about the move of a barn from Frankenmuth to Stoll Road in Lansing. The remainder of Kimball's barn presentation follows. This program took place at the Turner-Dodge House and Heritage Center.

- An oral history from Walter Graff, longtime Eastern High School coach, member of the Knights Templar, the Lansing parks board, and an inductee in the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame. He was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Iron Mountain, and was also a veteran of World War I. Walter Graff was interviewed by James Walkinshaw and Graff's son-in-law Duane Vernon at the Burcham Hills retirement center on November 8, 1988. A transcript for this recording has not been completed.

- A group portrait of several unidentified men and women in a dining hall, for the second annual banquet of the Lansing Area Hiawatha Sportsman's Banquet. According to the Lansing State Journal, the banquet was held at the People's Church in East Lansing, with guests from around the state. The principal speaker was George Fuller, state historian.
