- The Kent County Sheriff's Posse, seventeen mounted sheriffs, in the Lansing Centennial Parade of Transportation on East Michigan Avenue. Several troups of mounted police from around the state participated in the parade. Altman's Mens Store, the Esquire Theater, Murton Opticians, Jim's Cocktail Bar, Lansing Cafe, and Mattison's Jewelry are all visible in the background. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection.

- Description:
- A team of eight Clydesdale horses and the Anheuser-Busch beer wagon with an unidentified woman, possibly a waitress from a downtown tavern, on North Washington Avenue in downtown Lansing. The horses and wagon made a national tour, visiting various Budweiser distributors in many towns, in 1950. In Lansing, they paraded through downtown on August 19, and again on August 21. Behind them Carl's Grill, Mike's Market, Lansing Dry Cleaners, the Furniture Exchange, and other businesses can be seen in the 300 block of North Washington Avenue. - Possibly a parade or gathering for the centennial of the American Revolution in 1875 or 1876, based on the decorations of the drug store building in the center of the photograph. Many horsedrawn wagons including the Ingham County Milk wagon crowd the streets. On back of photograph: "NE corner - Washington & Michigan."
