The certificate was printed by the Calvert Lithographing Company and features an illustration of a steam engine pulling a box car and several passenger cars with a boat in the background. The certificate is singed by the Detroit Car Company's president C.S. Cram, and its secretary James A. Armstrong. Four payments are noted on the verso between October 19, 1899, and April 1901.
