- Built in the 1960s and closed in 2001, the Harley Franks school was located at 2924 Newark Avenue. Two copies. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection.

- Children seated at desks reading, some seated in a circle at the front, while a teacher watches. A "Thrift Honor Room" banner hangs on the classroom door. There were 11 slides in a box labeled "Maplewood-Cherry." Nothing on the individual slides distinguishes which images were taken at which school. Cherry Street School was located in the 400 block of South Cherry Street. Maplewood School was in the 2200 block of South Cedar Street.

- Children at desks working on an art project, with a teacher standing in the back of the classroom. The date "March 3, 1926" is written on the chalkboard. Cedar Street School was located at the corner of Cedar and Wall (later changed to Maple) streets.
