The majority of the program is dedicated to advertisements, including one for "Queen Anne Soap Free Excursions," aboard the TASHMOO, GREYHOUND, and CITY OF TOLEDO on the back cover. A black and white half tone image of the theater, and a advertisement for Richardson's dinnerware appears on the cover surrounded by a border containing columns, acanthus leaves, scrollwork, and musical instruments. - Sepia-toned photo of the exterior of the New Empire Theatre as taken from the east side of Woodward Avenue, facing west. The Charlie Chaplin film, "The Champion," is advertised on the marquee, by a stand-up of Chaplin, and by several posters hung around the entrance. Other posters advertise the films, "His Desperate Deed," and "The Battle of Frenchman's Run." Field's Cloaks, Suits, Furs, and Dresses, is located in the storefront to the south of the theater. On the north side of the theater are St. John's Arbor, Brown's Fine Candies, and Woolworth's. A row of light poles, each holding five streetlights are along the sidewalk in the foreground. The photo is mounted on a page for a photo album, complete with a flap for binding. "13055," is printed in the lower right corner. A Manning Brothers, Commercial Photographers stamp is on the verso, along with the handwritten note, "W.S. Woodward between State & Grand River."

It is located on the Campus Martius which was reserved as a breathing spot in the "Governor and Judges" plan, adopted for the city in its earliest history. - Half-folded newsprint directory and program sheet for the New Wonderland Musee, Museum, Menagerie, and Art Gallery for the week commencing Monday, May 23, 1898. The front page carries an ornate engraved nameplate, listing J.H. Moore as the proprietor and Charles G. Williams as the general manger. The house directory runs along the central column of the recto. An art department containing "the only complete set of the Famous Rogers' Statuettes in America" is located on the first floor. The second floor contains the lecture hall, Bijou Theatre, and Eden Mussee; below a group of titles are listed. The Cyclorama, theatre entrance, and the Ladies' Parlor are listed as being on the third floor. The menagerie is located on the fourth floor, and the animals contained within are listed, ranging from rats to a lion. The central column on the second page lists the attractions in the complex's Curio Hall--the Haunted Swing, the Detroit Phonograph Parlor, Charles Swain and his wonderful performing geese, and the Cumberland Clock. "Professor Carr's Performing and Wrestling Bears are billed below as appearing in the Bijou Theatre. The third page contains the list of acts scheduled to appear in the complex's theatre, including contortionists Johnson and McKay; singer and impressionist A.C. Lawrence; the Brownie Trick Bicyclist Eddie Pinaud; and the World's Trio, Perry Ryan, Lulu Ryan and Emma Wood. The third page also lists a series of mutoscope films from American Biograph, predominately dealing with the Spanish-American War, which are available for viewing. The back cover advertises the Wonderland Theatre's new location for next season, on the corner of Campus Martius and Monroe Avenue. A half-page lithograph of the new location is included. The majority of the four pages are devoted to advertisements. "1898," and "6/29/31 Edward Hill," are handwritten at the top of the cover in pencil.

- Large half-folded newspaper-format program for performances of "Myles Aroon" at the Lyceum Theatre for the week of February 16, 1896. The program's masthead features an engraving of a woman playing a lute within a heart-shaped frame that is supported by cherubs, credited to J.H. McKendrick, as well as a masthead listing Charles Widrig as the publisher, E.D. Stair as the manager, and "Brady and Stair" as the directors. The program features numerous advertisements, and was printed by the McClure Press.
