- Shaw's Jewelers at 110, R & H Shoes at 108, and Karmelkorn confections and Capital Hatters at 106 North Washington Avenue. City Planning Division staff annotated, trimmed, and modified the photo. On the left edge of the photo, a smaller photo has been affixed; it measures approximately 1/4 x 3/8 inches and is not legible.

- Both sides of East Ottawa Street are seen. On the left is the Dodge Building with the Senate Grill. Further east is the Trowbridge Manhattan Club tavern. On the right, Kay's Jewelry and Luggage faces North Washington Avenue. Stores to the east include the Keith Bartow Music Shop, Barker-Fowler Electric Company, Central Car and Truck Rental and VanDevoort Hardware Company - Boat Division. A part of the Ottawa Station of the Lansing Board of Water and Light can be seen behind the stores on the north side of East Ottawa Street.

- Two vacant storefronts at 310 and 308 and the Top Value Redemption Gift Store trading stamps at 306 North Washington Avenue. At the far right is the entry to Bartow Violin Shop upstairs at 306 1/2. City Planning Division staff trimmed the photo to show only these three storefronts and cut out an area to fit the parked automobile seen in 2015-06-003.V6.067.

- At right is the end of the Gladmer Theatre at 233 North Washington Avenue. Moving left, in the same building, Randall's Health Foods is at 231. Continuing south, Silver Lead Paint at 229, Western Auto Supply at 225, Emery-Pratt office equipment at 223, Epicure Tea Shop at 221, MacLaughlin Music at 219, National China at 213, and Firestone Tires at 211. The block ends with the Tussing building at West Ottawa Street, home of the Palms Theatre at 209 and the College Drugstore at 201. Buildings seen to the south include the Bank of Lansing at 101 North Washington Avenue, Prudden building on South Washington and West Michigan Avenue, and the Michigan National Tower at West Allegan Street and South Capitol Avenue. - Starting from East Michigan Avenue, 100 North Washington Avenue was Hardy's men's clothing, Thom McAn shoes was at 102 North Washington and the Ingham County Republican Headquarters was at 104 North Washington Avenue. Several small cut-out photos were affixed to this photo by City Planning Division staff who also made the notations.
