- One booklet entitled, "32 Years Ago," which was published by the Union Trust Company to commemorate their 32nd year of business. The company was founded in 1891 and the booklet was published in 1923. The booklet consists of a single panoramic strip of halftone photographic images that show downtown Detroit storefronts along the east side of Woodward Avenue as of 1891. The primary copy has bolder colors and is mounted on beige cardstock. The etching in the center on the right depicts St. Ann's Church at the corner of Larned and Bates Street, with a woman and child walking along the sidewalk and a child playing with a dog in the street. - One print entitled "Detroit and Its Water Front In 1887." The print consist of a black and white drawing that shows an elevated view of city, looking northward along Woodward Avenue just south of Jefferson Avenue. The drawing was a supplement to the Detroit Evening Journal on May 7, 1887. A separate engraved drawing along the bottom of the sheet shows a view of the waterfront with many different types of sail and steam vessels on the river. Printed text in the lower left corner shows "Photo-Electrotype Eng. Co., New York."

- Color postcard depicts the Gleaners' Building from the corner of Woodward Avenue and Palmer Street. Printed on the verso, "The ancient order of Gleaners' Building, corner of Woodward and Palmer Avenues, is one of the most imposing office buildings in the city. The Grecian style of architecture has been followed throughout. The exterior of the building is of Bedford stone, and the massive columns in front were turned from solid block, each weighing twelve tone. Printed message read: "Dear Friend: -- I have no means of knowing at present whether you aided us in our fight with the Binder Twine Trust of not, but I do know that your interest is with the Prison Factory and not with the 'Trust.' A telegram just received from Jackson says that the Twine has all been disposed of, and for the third time the organized farmers have won over the Trust and Organized Dealers. Just think of it! Three Million Pounds of Twine --Fifteen Hundred Tons--handled direct from factory to farmer. That is what we 'Gleaners' call Co-operation. If you have helped us, thanks; if you want our help at any time, just let us know. Sincerely, Gleaner Clearing House Association." Postmarked Jul 2, 1910.

- Sepia-toned photo mounted on a black cabinet card with gold trim bearing an image taken during the 1891 National Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic in Detroit. A triumphal arch topped with an obelisk is in the process of being erected on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, as viewed facing south. The framework beneath its lower right corner is visible. The structure is decorated with Civil War scenes, including the battle between the ironclads, the Monitor and Merrimack, as well as cavalry scene. Eagles and stars are posted on each corner of the structure, and it is draped with garlands. A horse-drawn streetcar passes beneath it, and many horse buggies and wagons are stopped near it. - Black and white photo of a row of storefronts on Woodward Avenue, north of Gratiot Avenue, set to be demolished for Hudson's 1914 expansion. John V. Sheehan and Company Books has a large sign posted above its storefront which reads, "Removal sale, Tremendous Slaughter in prices on books, stationery, bibles, books in sets, New location 260 & 262 Woodward Ave." A similar large sign about Leo Zuckerman's reads, "Leo Zuckerman forced to retire from business! This building to be torn down within 30 days. $100,000.00 stock of ladies and misses suits, coats, dresses, skirts, and millinery must be sold at once. Must retire from business. Building to be torn down. Entire stock to be sold regardless of cost. We've got to move." A smaller sign above a piano store reads, "Building comes down May 17... piano reductions and remember, it does matter where you buy your piano." Delmar's Candies, F. Rolshoven and Company, and Albany Dentists are also on the block. A row of cars are parked along Woodward. "May 9, 1914," is printed at the lower right, and "Manning Bros., Detroit," is embossed at the lower left. "Site of new J.L. Hudson store, Woodward and Gratiot," is handwritten on the verso along with a Manning Brothers stamp.

The majority of the crowd are wearing hats, and boater hats appear to be the predominant style. Streetcars make their way through the crowd, and those headed north on Woodward Avenue carry additional passengers on their roofs. A utility pole near the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument has become a perch for several spectators as well. American flags are hung from nearly every other window of the Pontchartrain Hotel. A large sign reading, "Conventions & Auto Bulletin" is posted above the corner of Woodward and Fort Street. To its right are several signs advertising railroad lines--Canadian Pacific, Pere Marquette, Union Pacific and Southern Pacific. This corner is also draped with flags and banners. - Sepia-toned photo of the exterior of the New Empire Theatre as taken from the east side of Woodward Avenue, facing west. The Charlie Chaplin film, "The Champion," is advertised on the marquee, by a stand-up of Chaplin, and by several posters hung around the entrance. Other posters advertise the films, "His Desperate Deed," and "The Battle of Frenchman's Run." Field's Cloaks, Suits, Furs, and Dresses, is located in the storefront to the south of the theater. On the north side of the theater are St. John's Arbor, Brown's Fine Candies, and Woolworth's. A row of light poles, each holding five streetlights are along the sidewalk in the foreground. The photo is mounted on a page for a photo album, complete with a flap for binding. "13055," is printed in the lower right corner. A Manning Brothers, Commercial Photographers stamp is on the verso, along with the handwritten note, "W.S. Woodward between State & Grand River."

- Sepia-toned photograph taken of the exterior of the saloon belonging to Charles Abbs at 23 Woodward Avenue, as well as the adjacent building containing another saloon belonging to H.W. Mosier, as taken from the east side of Woodward Avenue, south of Atwater Street. Both are decorated for Cadillaqua. Flags and patriotic banners have been hung on the buildings, and a sign reading, "Welcome Cadillaqua Visitors," has been hung from the awning above Mosier's storefront. Part of the J.T. Wing and Company building is visible on the left side of the frame. Several pedestrians are on the sidewalk in front of the businesses. The streets in the foreground are paved with bricks, and contain streetcar rails. "Celebration cadillaqua week." has been typewritten along the top of the photo, and "Father's place of business," has been handwritten in pencil along the bottom edge.

The long image at the top right is a scene, captioned, "Detroit harbor showing water front of city and character of shipping." Several dock workers move bags and barrels at the bottom, while in the background, sailing ships and steamships travel along the river. Below, another long panel depicts a north-facing view of Woodward Avenue, extending from Campus Martius. Shops on the corner of Michigan Avenue, and Woodward Avenue, including Hudson and Symington are depicted. The Opera House is also pictured, housing J.L. Hudson's. An optician, Hull Brothers Family Groceries, and Chas. A. Werner Glassware are depicted as well. Several moonlight towers are visible in the distance. Harper Hospital is in the topmost of the three panels, arranged vertically on the far right. Below are the police headquarters at Bates Street and Farmer Street and the house of correction at the present site of Eastern Market.
