- Print containing three engravings, taken from the booklet, Souvenir of Detroit & Exposition, depicting locations in Detroit. An isometric view of the laboratory of Frederick Stearns and Company is at the top. At the bottom left is a "view in Grand Circus Park." A woman stands in the path leading to the fountain. Another woman and child sit on the bench to her right. More people are visible in the background behind the fountain. The Palms Building is pictured in the lower left frame. Pedestrians walk along the sidewalk outside of it, while a streetcar pulled by a horse with a rather wide gait, speeds past.

- World War I poster with the message, "U.S. Marines - First To Fight For Democracy, Enlist At." The poster shows a color drawing of six Marines loading a deck gun on a U.S. Navy warship. The poster was intended to encourage citizens to enlist in the Marine Corps. The artist's name and date, "L.A. Shafer, 1917," is shown near the lower right corner of the drawing.

- One blueprint drawing (Sheet 20 of 20) entitled "Rough Sketch Showing Numerous Details of 'Bi-Autogo' Design Patented 1911." The drawing shows a plan view, details, and design notes for the proposed motorcycle. The drawing is shown at an approximate scale of 1.625 inches = 1 foot. A note beneath the bar scale near the lower left corner reads "Note - This Tracing Made in France - 10/21/11 - J.S.B. [James Scripps Booth]."

- One copyright registration, "No. 3286 P," dated February 15, 1884, issued by the "Library of Congress, Copyright Office, Washington." The registration form is printed in black text on white paper and includes blank lines that have been completed in handwritten blue ink text. It indicates that a copyright was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit for a "Book or Form" which is described in more specific detail in handwritten text. The registration form was signed in the lower right corner by "A. R. [Ainsworth Rand] Spofford, Librarian of Congress." An oval-shaped embossed seal of the Copyright Office is located in the upper left corner of the form.

- Pocket-sized ledger book from the J.L. Hudson Company recording purchases made for the Spring of 1884. The dates span December through June, and company names and dollar amounts are listed within. Records begin both at the beginning and end of the book, with the bulk of the central pages left blank. The ledger is bound with a black leather cover opening from the bottom. "J.L. Hudson, Detroit, Mich., Spring 1884," is printed on the front in gold.

- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a 3-page letter and that was written by Malcolm J. McLeod who was the President of the Trades Council. The upper left corner is printed with the return address of the Detroit Street Railway Employees Association. The front of the envelope is entitled, "Condition of Labor Men of the City of Detroit," and is also signed and dated by Malcolm J. McLeod in the lower right corner. The back flap of the envelope is sealed with an irregularly-shaped blot of red wax.

- One booklet entitled "Specifications, Mr. E. M. Coleman for a Brick Veneered 16 Family Flat Building and 9 Apartment Garage Located on the Southeast Corner of Helen and Canfield Aves., Lots 29, 30, and 31, Detroit, Mich." The architectural specifications (Job 269, Set No. 1) are bound in a booklet that has three brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes typewritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 76 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.

- Map entitled "Les Lacs du Canada et Nouvelle Angleterre" by Robert de Vaugondy and is dated 1749. The map is printed in French in black text on slightly yellowed woven paper. It shows the major lakes and rivers of the Great Lakes and New England regions of North America as well as the main towns and forts. The Great Lakes are outlined in light green lines and the New England states are delineated in light yellow and pink lines. The map title and scale are shown in a box in the lower left corner. Lines of latitude and longitude are labeled along the perimeter of the map area.

- One plan sheet entitled, "Joiner Plan, Crew's Quarters For'd. [Forward]." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a plan view of the layout of the crew's quarters in the forward section of the SS Naomi. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Dry Dock Company" at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated April 15, 1909. The plan number is shown as "1190."
