- Print. Black and white photographic print, taken from an elevated vantage point features the enormous Smith, Hinchman and Grylls addition to The J.L. Hudson Company Building, under construction on Woodward Avenue. A series of automobiles are visible parked in the street below. Pedestrians are visible admiring the construction from the opposing sidewalk. Construction workers are also visible at the foot of the building. The name of the photography studio, and geographic location are embossed on the bottom of the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "6-29-25."

- Description:
- Print. Black and white photographic print of an elevated view, looking southeast on Woodward Avenue, toward the new J.L. Hudson Company Department Store addition, Himelhoch's Department Store and the already existing Hudson's building. A series of automobiles are parked on Woodward adjacent to the curb; a man can be seen working on the newly formed sidewalk in front of the addition. Signage for the Fourth Liberty Loan is affixed to the façade of the Hudson's building. Also, the Ferry Building is visible in the left foreground with flags displayed above the entryway. The date is printed on the front of the recto, "Oct. 16. - 18." Also, the photography studio's name, and geographic location are embossed on the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit."

Black and white photographic print, taken from an elevated vantage point, depicts the construction of the Shaw Building addition of the Newcomb-Endicott Company at the Corner of Woodward and Grand River Avenues. Pedestrians are visible on the neighboring sidewalk and thoroughfare; automobiles are also parked along Woodward Avenue. Rayl's Hardware and Liggett's Drug Store are visible in the left foreground, and The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store is visible in the background, south of the construction. The name of the photography studio and the geographic location are embossed on the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit."

- Print. Black and white photographic print of an exterior view of The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store taken from the northwest side of Woodward Avenue. A series of automobiles are parked against the curb, and are visible in the foreground, and on the south side of Woodward. Hudson's Men's Store is adjacent to the on-going construction of, "Another 10 Story Building, HUDSON'S." Kern's Department Store is visible in the background. The name of the photography studio, their geographic location, and the photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit, 53326." The date is hand-written on the verso, "5-4-23."

- Print. Black and white photographic print of the façade of The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store located at the corner of Woodward and Gratiot Avenues. The image, taken from an elevated view, features Hudson's as well as neighboring retailer, Himelhoch's. Signage affixed to the façade of Hudson's reads, "Buy Victory Loan Bonds Until We Cancel It!" Several pedestrians are visible on the street corner. Automobiles are visible parked along the curb in front of the retailer. Herbst Clothing neighbors Hudson's on the southeast side of the building; American flags are visible affixed to the facade. The name of the photography studio, and geographic location are embossed on the bottom of the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "4-18-19."

- Description:
- One post binder containing 15 photographs of Michigan Bell Telephone Company buildings along with appraisal sheets for each building. The binder has a light brown cloth hard cover and is printed with black text. The photographs and appraisal sheets are held inside the binder with two metal post screws that are located at the hinged edge. The photographs are all sepia-toned images of telephone company buildings and are mounted on cloth backing. On the verso of each photo, there is a black ink stamp that shows "Manning Bros., Commercial Photographers, 594-595 Lincoln Building, Corner State and Park Sts., Detroit, Mich." The appraisal summary sheets are forms that have been printed in black text on slightly yellowed paper and show "Albert Kahn, Inc." near the upper left corner. Sections of the form have been completed in blue typewritten text and also handwritten pencil.
