- Located at 3500 Grand River Avenue North. It was named for settlers whose horses drank from the creek. It was constructed in 1953 with an addition made in 1956. It was annexed to Lansing Public Schools in 1958 and another addition was added in 1961. Contents include: Awards, bylaws, treasurer's journal, meeting minutes, correspondence, facility planning, bicentennial. Box two also includes one folder each for Lyons and Main Street Schools.

- Located at 620 Lesher Place. The land was purchased in 1892 for Lesher Place School. The name changed to East Park in 1895 and a second story was added soon after. A fire occurred din 1907 and a new building was constructed in 1916. The first PTA was organized in 1924 and in 1926 the name became Oak Park. Contents include: Awards.

- Title page: "Lansing Area Park Development: A project of the Lansing Area Community Resources Workshop in cooperation with Michigan State University, by Jean H. Nilsen and Susan Zerbst. Director: Mrs. Frances B. Schneider; Assistant Director: Ralph Chapman. July, 1969." The report is bound with two pieces of stained wood and a leather cord, and the cover design and title were done with a woodburning tool. This report includes a list of parks; a historical sketch of the early park system by Birt Darling; information about the city's Parks and Recreation Department, Urban Renewal projects; and other information about the park system. Some charts and indexes cut from other publications are included (with no sources given), and color snapshots for many of the parks are also in the report. - Located at 1900 Cedar Street South at the southwest corner of Cedar and Mount Hope Road East. The land was purchased in 1924 and a v-shaped building was constructed. It was named for Walter H. French who held many titles in the community. The school opened in 1925 with additions made in 1957. Contents include: Sports photos, anniversaries, awards, principals, history, guides, correspondence, records, clippings, treasurer book, slides taken by students between 1967 and 1979.
