- This Arm Chair, in the Collection of The Henry Ford, consists of molded fiberglass with dark brown padded hopsak upholstery that has a ten-inch opening between the back and seat. The shell sits on a tilt, swivel four blade metal base on black casters.
A chair matching this description cannot be found in any Herman Miller Trade Catalogues. This confirms that it is probably a prototype. However, the base does suggest a date circa 1963.

- This Sofa Prototype Group, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of five components; four prototype shells and one finished version. The finished version has one large tan-gray hopsack padded upholstered cushion with tan vinyl edging over a molded white plastic shell. The one-piece shell seats two. The frame is made of a single piece of metal with four feet that have white plastic glides and black rubber shock mounts.
The four prototype sofas are made of different shades of red and gray plastic shell molds.
The finished sofa is Accession # 89. 177. 37. 1. The prototypes are Accession #'s 89. 177. 37. 2 - 89. 177. 37. 5.

- This Model, in the collection of The Henry Ford, has wedge shaped units with narrow fronts and wide backs that combined with square modules to create varied configurations. There are twelve seating units for the modular system that can show three variants in straight lines, arcs, serpentine shapes, loops, or full circles.
This model was never used but did replace earlier models that were destroyed. They were made specifically for Herman Miller, Inc. by the designer.

- This Indoor-Outdoor reclining chair with ottoman, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a sienna saran (plastic) woven fabric stretched onto the chair seat and back frame. The arms of the chair are black plastic coated and curve. The frame is made of a four blade, aluminum base with a black plastic pedestal and glides.
The ottoman is made of the same fabric and metal.
