- Color postcard depicting an elevated view along Central Avenue on Belle Isle. The street is crowded with pedestrians and in the foreground is a round flowerbed. Printed on verso: Central Avenue, Belle Isle. Detroit's principal recreation spot is an island in the Detroit river connecting with the city by a bridge, 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boasts over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway which completely circles and frequently intersects it. A fine zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The City has expended over $1,500,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. - Color postcard depicting the David Whitney Building from Woodward Avenue in Grand Circus Park, with a pedestrian, streetcars, and automobiles in the foreground. An American flag flies atop the building. Printed on verso: Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Mich. Woodward Avenue enjoys the unusual distinction of being both Detroit's leading business and residence street. It is named in honor of Judge Woodward, one of Detroit's foremost citizens in the pioneer days, and stretches approximately north and south. At the foot are the ferry docks where boats leave regularly for Windsor, Ont., Belle isle and Bois Blanc Islands. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Oct 26, 1915.

- Color postcard depicting the Detroit approach to the Michigan Central Railway Tunnel, with a truss bridge and buildings in the background. Train car are on the tracks entering the tunnel and alongside. Printed on verso: Entrance to Detroit River Tunnel, Detroit, Mich. The Detroit River Tunnel has the unique distinction of being the only tunnel of its type ever built. It was constructed in sections, all work being done from the surface of the water without the use of compressed air. The Tunnel is operated electronically. Construction was started October 1, 1906, and completed July 1, 1910. The length from portal to portal is 1 3/8 miles, and from summit of grade 2 ½ miles. It was built by the Detroit River Tunnel Company for the M. C. R. R. at a cost of $8,500,000. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Dec 1, 1914.
