- A photograph of an invitation for a Fourth of July Ball held at the Pavilion Hotel in Rochester. The Pavilion Hotel was built in 1839 by proprietor Elnathan Wilcox and passed through several hands, becoming the Fenner House, and later, the Comstock House. It burned down in 1880.
