- Mounted lithograph showing a northward view along Woodward Avenue from an elevated position over Detroit's riverfront, published as a supplement to the May 7, 1887 edition of the Detroit Evening News. Jefferson Avenue runs horizontally in the foreground. Michigan Avenue, and Gratiot Avenue extend into the corners of the background. Moonlight towers are visible rising among the buildings. The image is credited to J.R. Chapin and the Photo-Electrotype Engraving Company of New York. A smaller secondary scene across the bottom of the print shows a variety of ships and boats on the Detroit River--including the LANSDOWNE, EXCELSIOR, GREYHOUND, CITY OF CLEVELAND, and ALMA MUNRO--with the city's riverfront in the background.

- Colorized halftone print of a photograph depicting the west side of Campus Martius, as viewed from an elevated position, likely from the Pontchartrain Hotel. The primary copy has bolder colors and is mounted on beige cardstock. The secondary copy has lighter colors, and includes the title, "'The Heart of Detroit' - Reproduced from Photograph," as well as the notation, " Jos. Mack, Printer, Detroit." Both versions include captions below labeling the Post Office, City Hall, Pardridge and Blackwell in the Majestic Building, the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, Merrill Fountain, and the Opera House. A sign reading, "Welcome National Hay Association" is posted on the front of City Hall. The moonlight tower in front of City Hall on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue is visible. Electric streetcars, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians are on the streets below. "1902-1903" handwritten on lower right corner of secondary copy, and "Fine Cigars and Tobacco, Confectionary, Soft Drinks, and School Supplies, Etc., 528 Dix Ave. Detroit, Mich." stamped on its verso.

- One blueprint copy of a map entitled "Detroit - Prior to the Fire of June 11, 1805." The map shows the layout of the town and fort as of June, 1805, including the names and locations of property owners at that time as well as lot numbers, lot dimensions, street names, and right-of way widths. The map area extends from Griswold Street on the east, to the Detroit River on the south, to Cass Street on the west, and to Lafayette Avenue on the north. The map also shows the extent of filling which occurred along the shoreline from 1805 up 1889. The title block in the lower left corner indicates that the map was "prepared by C. M. Burton, Wayne County Abstract Office, from Official Records." The drawing was done by "R. J. Mackey, Draughtsman," at a scale of 1 inch = 60 feet and is dated 1889.

- Sepia-toned photograph of a man in an early runabout-style car parked on the west side of Woodward Avenue at Atwater Street. A sign reading "Sheriff 1912" is hung from one of the car's roof supports. H.D. Edwards and Company's building stands in the background. Other signs posted on the building advertise "Sail Makers and Rigging[...]" and "Awnings, Tents" in reference to the J.C. Gloss Company and the Detroit Awning and Tent Company, who also shared that building.

Many downtown buildings are visible including the Penobscot Building, Guardian Building, First National Building, Book Building, and others. A section of Cass Avenue is visible (running north and south) near the lower left corner of the photo. The copyright symbol and "GG" are printed in the lower left corner.

- Sepia-toned cabinet card depicting a snow-covered view of Woodward Avenue near Gratiot Avenue, plus two black and white 8" x 10" copies. A freestanding sign for J. Younghusband, Dental Rooms is in the foreground. A horse-drawn sleigh heads away along Woodward, while another, loaded with boxes, is stopped on the opposite side of the street, in front of the Godfrey Block. On that side of Woodward signs are posted for Wheeler and Wilson's Viewing Machinery, L.P. Durkee, William Bond Furniture, a Singer sewing machine store, J.M. Arnold and Co. Books and Stationery, Butterick's Patterns, Gibbs Books and Stationery, Gilmore, a dentist, a sewing notions store, Freedman and Bros. Dry Goods and Millinery, and the Weber Furniture Company Warehouse. Several pedestrians are also on the street. The bottom of the card is printed with "C.C. Randall, Randall Studio Building, Detroit, 106 Miami Ave." "Woodward Ave." has been added in pencil. Verso contains explanation of dating based on Randall's address in pencil.

- Black and white photographic print on slightly beige paper depicting the 1898 Spanish-American War Parade as viewed on Jefferson Avenue near Wayne Street, facing east. A formation of uniformed soldiers marches west along Jefferson. In the foreground are people, horse-drawn wagons, and carriages stopped to watch. A Pittmans and Dean Company ice delivery wagon is amongst them. Flags are draped from the buildings along Jefferson. H.S. Robinson and Company, Frohlich Edward Glass Company, Cowyer and Ward Millinery, and A.H. Krum and Company are all visible. A partially visible man in the foreground along the left edge raises his arm, perhaps in a salute.

The conductor and passengers are visible through its windows. In the background, four men stand by a cart in front of Joseph H. Lume's restaurant, saloon, and bowling alley on the east side of Woodward. The sign for C.E. Trombly, stovist, is partially visible beyond the top of the car.
