- Description:
- This woman's eggshell satin wedding gown has an irregular length, with a scalloped hem that is lower in the back than in the front. It has long, straight sleeves that snap at their scalloped cuffs. The gown has a wide round neckline, and a dropped waist with scalloped piping. The gathered skirt is shirred with silk cord, and has a pearl bow positioned at its center front. A second pearl bow is also found at the left shoulder. The dress has a snap side closing. It was made at Pack-Wolin in Detroit, and worn by donor in 1926.

- This deep red wool woman's suit has two pieces. The single-breasted jacket has five covered buttons down the front and a small shawl collar. The long, straight sleeves have turned-back cuffs. Draped peplum on the back and sides is caught up with self-cords tipped in brass. The collar is also caught up with brass tipped cords. The skirt of below-knee length is a slightly flared "A" line. - Woman's evening gown of black silk with scroll-leaf brocade pattern; square neckline with net insert, short sleeves, empire style, draped skirt; bodice covered with black sequins, beaded fringe with drop-shaped sequins; ladder shaped jet-bead tassel hanging from center of bodice; black net and sequin panel with beaded fringe down left side. Label: Bertha A. Krenz. Belonged to donor's mother, Mrs. James R. Hayes; Mr. Hayes was proprietor of the Wayne Hotel from the 1880's until 1918. The dress was made by Bertha A. Krenz whose shop was on High Street (Vernor ).

- Pale green iridescent pebbled crepe day coat with lining of white pebbled crepe. This item was owned by Frances Dodge (November 27, 1914 – January 24, 1971), who was the eldest daughter of John Francis Dodge (co-founder of Dodge Motor Company) and his third wife, Matilda Rausch Dodge (Wilson).

- Woman's red velvet evening coat lined with white satin. It is a wrap-around "kimono" style with long dolman sleeves. The lapel and cuffs are trimmed with pink embroidery having metallic threads. Label: J. Hock, Detroit.

- This is a full length woman's dress of blue with white polka dot satin. It is decorated with narrow blue braid around its neck, sleeves, back and sides, which is sewn on by hand. The dress has a front closure, and a white lace inlay around its neck. The narrow long sleeves have a crochet band of fabric in their middle with a button at the wrist. The skirt pleated front and back. Label: B.A. Krenz.

- Woman's suit in a fine brown, pink, blue, white, and black wool tweed. The fitted jacket has long sleeves, a round, lapel collar, padded shoulders, and self buttons. It is lined with mauve crepe. - Woman's two piece suit of black taffeta and fine black wool. Skirt has graduated petals of black wool with three covered buttons over a very full, waltz length taffeta skirt. There is a side zipper.. The jacket is single breasted, with self-covered buttons. It has a rolled collar and shoulder pads. Long, tight sleeves with cuffs. Flares over hips. - Woman's pale lavender-pink faille gown. The bodice has a high collared lace dickie, and elbow length sleeves. Bretelles over each shoulder are embroidered with pale pink chain stitches, gold flowers, lavender and blue grapes, and green leaves. The natural waistband is also trimmed with chain stitches, and an oval leaf crest. The A-line skirt is slightly longer in back with two crossed panels in the front that are embriodered with a pale pink abstract floral design at the hem. The back panel is plain. A short embroidered panel with two buttons is at the waist on the back left side. The dress hooks down the back. The gown belonged to the donor's mother, Mrs. James R. Hayes. Mr. Hayes was proprietor of the Wayne Hotel from the 1880s until 1918. The dress was made by Bertha A. Krenz whose shop was on High Street (Vernor).
