- Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned head-and-shoulders portrait photograph of Detroit Fire Commissioner James W. Sutton. Handwriting on the verso notes "ex-commissioner, James W. Sutton." This photograph is one of a series of eight photos of former Detroit Fire Department Commissioners. A decorative engraved logo on the verso shows "Randall, Photographer, 220 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich."

- Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned head-and-shoulders portrait photograph of Lillian N. Clark at age 17 (according to the handwritten note on the verso) in profile. Clark was the sister of University of Michigan football player William Dennison Clark and Eliza Walton Clark, who married Theodore Horatio, Jr. The name of the photographer at the bottom of the card has worn away, however, the text, "Albany N.Y." remains.

- Mounted sepia-toned group portrait photograph of ten uniformed firefighters posed in front of an open bay on the exterior of their fire station. The five men in the front are seated in wooden chairs, and the other five men stand behind them. The face of an eleventh person is visible through the window on the right. Through the large bay doors are harnesses for the horses that draw their apparatus which are suspended from overhead to expedite hitching. The photo is mounted on beige cardstock.

A heavily treed area, likely Grand Circus Park, is visible in the background. The base of a moonlight tower is at the right. A boy peers toward the camera while stepping into the street in the foreground on the right. The picture on the verso depicts a man in a bowler hat and sport coat standing atop a bridge across a canal. A large building and several trees are visible across the canal in the background.

Sanford of the First Michigan Infantry, C Company posed standing in uniform with his left arm behind his back beside a chair and table. "Brady, Washington," is printed along the bottom border of the card. "Capt. Geo. P. Sanford 'C' Company, First Mich Vol Inf 1861," and "E2" are handwritten on the verso.

The fifth seated man from the left is identified as Engineer William Mauron[?]. Mauron and the two men to his left all have bugle insignia on their collars indicating their ranks. The photo is mounted on black mat board. "Geo. E. Ash, 452 Junction Ave." is printed on the verso.

Both of Kahn's arms are resting on the desk, with a pen in his right hand. He is wearing a suit, tie, and round-rimmed glasses. Framed photographs cover the wall behind his desk. "Mar 19, 1921," is stamped on the verso, and "Albert Kahn, 4 Cole - 6 P.M. tonight," is handwritten in grease pencil.
