- Materials related to the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conventions, and some side activities such as a trip to Havana after a St. Petersburg (Florida) convention, and the International Association of Identification conference. The majority of this group is programs, for the convention sessions themselves, as well as banquet dinners and luncheons, and entertainment provided at the events. There is some related memorabilia from trips and tours such as tickets and brochures. The materials were Seymour's own, and some contain his handwritten notes.

- This collection contains contains approximately 150 memorial service cards for funerals held at the Riley Funeral Home and/or the Trinity African Methodist Episcopal Church (sometimes called the Collins A. M. E. Church) in Lansing, Michigan. They are organized alphabetically by last name. Most date from the early 1960s through the 1970s, with a few earlier than 1960. Some of the memorial cards include brief biographies of the deceased. The Trinity A. M. E. Church and Riley Funeral Home are historically black organizations, though all the deceased individuals in this collection may not necessarily be African-American. These cards were given to the Forest Parke Library and Archives in 1992 by a donor who wished to remain anonymous. A name index is attached to this record. - Description:
- The U & I Club ("U" for "utility" and "I" for "interest") was founded in 1885 by some of Lansing's socially-prominent pioneer families. It did not have a formal structure to the organization, and meetings were held weekly in the homes of members. This small collection contains minutes, club history, annual meeting programs, membership lists, scripts, songs, speeches, and other material.

- Program from a recpetion for R. Em. Sir Seth H. Jones Grand Commander of Knights Templar held at the Masonic Temple.

- From an undated essay found in the collection: "The Unity Club was founded October 15, 1895, by Mrs. N. B. Jones, Mrs. C. D. Dodge, and Mrs. Lillian Rork, with a membership of twelve. The first five meetings were held at the homes of the members. Dec. 19th '95 the club met at the Pilgrim Chapel on Larch Street. The membership had increased to thirty-four. The club motto is 'Be a candle in the window if you cannot be a star in the sky.'" The ame was changed in 1942 to "Unity Literary Club." And "It was first a library club. Gradually it took on civic work and charity work until at the present time it has delegates to the Club House Association Board, delegates to Ingham County Home Association, and a Visiting Nurses Association committee. The membership is now limited to seventy-five." The club was broken up into four divisions and meeting organization rotated among them. Each meeting usually involved presentation of an essay or two, a book review, news and current events, and a discussion. Topics ranged from global politics to housekeeping and family life. This collection consists of a mostly disassembled Memory Book that was likely kept by founder Mrs. Charles D. Dodge (Arta Ruhammah Jane Snyder Dodge, July 24, 1852 - January 29, 1946). The material dates from the club's beginning into the mid 1940s. Included are the club's annual handbooks, correspondence, newspaper clippings, programs and ephemera from club events, some handwritten and typed essays, photographs, and a file of correspondence from a French girl, Alice Labat, to an unnamed "Benefactress" during 1918-1920.

- The Lansing Chapter No. 292 of the Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1896. This small collection contains the annual handbook/membership guides (sometimes referred to as "Yearbook") beginning with 1912, as well as a banquet program from 1900.
