- Sepia-toned photo of the interior of Pullman Company's Model B, an experimental streetcar designed by John Hession, Jr. based on specifications from Dr. Clarence F. Hirshfeld of the Electric Railway Presidents' Conference Committee, taken facing the front. The front entrance, a turnstile, the driver's area, several of the upholstered seats, a portion of the side destination sign including some of its internal gears, and overhead advertisements for Ivory Soap and the National Tea Company are visible within. Tracks, streetcar trucks, and brick industrial buildings are visible in the railyard outside of the car's windows. "P.39035, L. 6445, 7-31-34, JP.V.V." is printed in the lower left corner. "Built by Pullman Car & Mfg. Corp., Chicago," is embossed in the bottom center of the photo.

- Book containing a plan proposed by the Rapid Transit Commission on April 10, 1924 for a series of parallel lines of rapid transit rail beside expressways for automobiles along existing roads around the city's border and extending outward from the city limits. The report details previous plans for the city's roads, charts the city's growth, and includes several artist's renderings of the new system in fold-out sections. "Detroit Real Estate Board, 507 Union Trust Bldg., Detroit, Michigan," is stamped on the cover, and Clarence M. Burton's name is signed on the first page.
