In this photo, taken facing south on Woodward Avenue toward Congress Street, an arch decorated with a "Welcome" banner and American flags has been erected. Pedestrians, horse carriages, and horse-drawn streetcars are visible in the streets. On both sides of Woodward, signs for Mabley and Company are posted. The obelisk-topped arch at Jefferson and Woodward is visible in the background.

- Color postcard depicting an elevated view along Woodward Avenue at Campus Martius, facing northwest. In view are a moonlight tower, the Majestic Building, Detroit Opera House, and Merrill Fountain. Signs read, "H.C. Weber & Co." and "Benson's Dry Goods". Printed on verso: Woodward and Michigan Avenues. These are the two large thoroughfares leading from the Campus Martius at the corner of which is shown the Majestic Building which is the second largest building in Detroit. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jun 29, 1912.

The left and right side images are of the facades of Mabley and Company locations on the east side and west side of Woodward Avenue; pedestrians and horse carriages neighbor the structure in either image. The central image depicts the thoroughfare of Woodward Avenue populated by streetcars and horse carriages. Printed at the top center of the recto reads, "Mabley & Company." Also, printed along the bottom edge of the recto reads, "Bazaar and Shoe House. Woodward Ave. Clothing and Furniture House." A woman is walking the sidewalk adjacent to Woodward and Martin Place; behind her is a large residence in the Romanesque architectural style; neighbored by a second residence and commercial buildings. Commercial businesses include Hupmobile and Taxi Cab; automobiles are parked next to the curb in front of these two locales.

- Print. Sepia-toned photographic print taken from the southwest corner of Woodward Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, facing northwest. A horse and cart are inside the intersection at the lower right. Across Jefferson, on the west side of Woodward is a four story building occupied by A.C. McGraw and Company, Wholesale and Retail Boots and Shoes. Along the east side of Woodward, signs are posted for Aetna Insurance, a wholesale hat, cap, and fur store, another shoe store, a crockery store, D.B. Nichols and Company, and a carpet store. Faint impressions of several pedestrians who moved through the frame during the exposure are visible.

Signs read "Newell Gospel Services", "Queen Anne Soap", "Wilson Cafe", and "For Sale at reduced Prices Pardridge & Blackwell". Printed on verso: Woodward Avenue enjoys the unusual distinction of being both Detroit's leading business and residence street. It is named in honor of Judge Woodward, one of Detroit's foremost citizens in the pioneer days, and stretches approximately north and south. At its foot are the ferry docks where boats leave regularly for Windsor, Ont., Belle Isle and Bois Blanc Island. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 15, 1908.
