Notes:

The two sections of this homily in the Second Series of Catholic Homilies seem both to be intended for Easter (Alius Senno de Die Pascae). In the homily, Aelfric explicates the post-resurrection appearances of Christ to the disciples on the road to Emmaus and while they are fishing, recounted in Luke 24:13-35 and John 21 :1-12.
