Men's Five-Piece Formal Wear, 1937

Description:
Five piece formal wear, all matching, consisting of tuxedo jacket, full dress tails jacket, evening trousers with side stripe, braces and vest. The jackets and pants are of diamond patterned wool and the vest of violet-black brocaded silk. This item was owned by Daniel Dodge (1917 – 1938), son of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), the co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.
