L, 26th Infantry A.P.O.-1, c/o Postmaster New York, New York, dated January 10, 1944. In the V-Mail letter, Joe writes his fourth message to Agnes in one day where he affectionately teases her regarding the lack of lipstick imprints on her letters and encourages her to refine her cooking skills while he is away.
