Description:: Detroit United Railway historical marker is located in Rotary Gateway Park, slightly west of Rochester Hills Public Library. Detroit United Railway was a commuter-oriented inter-urban railway. Its car barns, freight house and power plant were on the west side of Chapman Pond until 1946. 07/02/2009.
