Description:

Staple-bound report, dated November 20, 1916, from the Navy Department, Bureau of Construction and Repair, containing two articles, "Air Test of Compartments," and "Extracts from Report of Air Tests of Compartments and Zones of Water-Ejecting System on the U.S.S. OKLAHOMA," both written J.G. Tawresey of the U.S. Navy. A stamp on the cover indicates that the report was receives by the Ford Motor Company's Office of the Superintending Constructor for the U.S. Navy on February 27, 1919, in preparation for the construction of the Ford Eagle Boats later that year. "Noted R.K.," is handwritten in pencil on the upper left corner of the first page.
