Caterino Postcard Collection

Description:

This is a collection of Lansing and regional postcards assembled by David Caterino as part of his larger group of local history materials. The postcards are sorted by binder in several broad subject categories developed by Caterino, and include things like street scenes, businesses, tourist cards, photo postcards, and others. In many cases the collection includes several variants of the same card. All of the postcards have been digitized, but only the best example of each as determined by Local History staff has been included in the database. A separate collection of Caterino's postcards specifically to do with the Michigan Agricultural College (MAC)/Michigan State College (MSC)/Michigan State University (MSU) is cataloged with collection ID 2017-04-006.
