Lansing Sugar Plant

Description:
Located on North Grand River just after crossing the bridge over the Grand River heading north. It was first known as the Owosso Sugar Plant, then the Lansing Sugar Plant, and finally in 1924, the Michigan Sugar Plant. It processed up to 500 tons of sugar beets daily. Built in 1901 and torn down in 1954.
