Sturges-Young Civic Auditorium, exterior with stone façade

Exterior view of sign and entrance to Sturges-Young Civic Center and Auditorium on 201 North Nottawa Street, Sturgis, Michigan. Stone façade features a raised relief of a harp, drama masks, laurel leaves, a banjo and a ribbon. The event center was built in 1955 by a Fort Wayne architect Alvin M. Strauss. The event center is named after Clara and Stella Sturges and Emma Young.
