Women's bright tangerine evening gown from the 1960s

Description:: Woman's bright tangerine-color, ankle length evening gown. The flowing, sarong-style dress has assymetrical straps. It has a closing, and fullness at the right front with horizontal draping over the bust with a complex front snap closing. An underdress of tangerine chiffon over crepe has staying, and a concealed zipper. The gown is slit below the knee on the right side. Fullness on the right side flutters open to reveal the underdress. The dress was worn by the daughter of Norah Dingler to her Senior prom. She was a student at Shrine High School. It was purchased at Julie's in the Fisher Building for $700.00. Label: Ferdinando Sarmi.
