Coolidge and copyrighted by George M. Hayes. On the recto is an image of a man in a white shirt and hat with brown slacks reclining and looking forlorn. In the lower left corner of the recto is an image of a man in a tan suit on his knees holding his hat and looking distressed while a woman in a yellow dotted blouse and blue skirt grabs him by the collar while holding a fire poker. The card's title, "Married One Year," is printed in the bottom right corner of the recto. Printed on the verso is advertising copy stating "This man, only married a year, feels too badly to shed a tear. The cause of all his woe and sorrow, he could, if he would, remove to-morrow. By buying his wife a Garland Stove or Range, things from bad to good would quickly change."
