Fort Wayne [Gun Inventory]

Description:

One inventory list of the guns at Fort Wayne. The list is shown in a tabular format that consists of printed black text on white paper including blank rows and columns that were to be completed by the officer in charge. Several rows and columns have gun quantities shown in the lower portion of the table. The inventory list has handwritten text in the lower right corner that shows "Respectfully submitted to the Chief of Engineers, U. S. Army, with letter dated April 29, 1892. O. M. Poe, Col., Corps of Engineers, Bvt. Brig. Gen., U.S.A." A blue ink stamp on the verso shows "No. 39, U. S. Engineer Office, Detroit, Mich., Received Jan. 22, 1892."
