Signage in the right foreground reads, "Announcing A Special Demonstration Month of the Suction Sweeper, 'We have tested very well-known make of sweepers. We believe the HOOVER to be the best.' Terms of Payment may be Arranged." A War Bond poster is affixed to the top right corner of the window and features a G.I. adorned with the American flag and reads, "Over the Top For You, Third Liberty Loan." Small signage in the bottom left window foreground reads, "The J.L. Hudson Company." Editorial marks are noted throughout the recto, and notes are hand-written on the verso, "Block out Hoover in all places; cut off top and bottom and right side." Also hand-written on the verso, "Return to E.F. Wendell."
