Dr. Sommers delves into the history of Michigan's folk songs and their preservation, focusing on the work of Alan Lomax. Dr. Sommers is introduced by MSU Professor John P. Beck. Part of the "Our Daily Work/Our Daily Lives" Brown Bag series co-sponsored by the MSU School of Human Resources and Labor Relations and the MSU Museum. Held in the MSU Museum Auditorium.
