Sepia-toned photograph depicting the manufacture of an Eagle Boat within the Ford Rouge Factory Complex, as taken off of its port quarter. Several machines, mounted on rails, used to install the propeller drive shaft are beneath the boat. Make-shift scaffolding is suspended from the stern. Ladders and a mobile work platform are along the boats port side. The caption "After deck house complete, machine places shaft thru stern tube," is on the verso. Lower right hand corner of photo has number and date of photo: 22584-7-03-18. Photo mounted on a linen backing.
