Pictured left to right are Gertrude (Gertie) McKnight Clyne (1897-1952), Mary Ellen Eldred Clyne (1857-1934), and Mina Clyne Smith (1889-?). The Clynes were a large family who lived on Terry Avenue in Rochester. Mary Ellen was the matriarch and had at least nine children, including Mina, who was married to Shell Smith.
