City Hall Concept Rendering

Description:

This is a framed color rendering of a proposed new City Hall building for Lansing, Michigan, produced by the architecture firm of Lee Black and Kenneth C. Black. The rendering is signed by the artist, John Wenrich, and dated November 21, 1946. The proposed building is similar to the one that was constructed in 1957 in some ways, especially the plaza at the corner of Capitol and Michigan avenues, but the exterior of the actual building is much different.
