A touch of Gothic Revival is seen in the arched window hoods, door surround, and front and west facade bay windows. . The L-shape wrap porch is supported by round columns on brick piers.The 1874 Washtenaw County Atlas depicts this house with vergeboard in the peaks of the gables and hipped roof dormers, cresting on the ridgeline, finials, and shuttered upper story windows.
