- Jacob Walker Cobmoosa with his violin. The Native American was the "lawfully appointed attorney-in-fact for the Michigan Ottawa and Chippewa Tribes" in their claims against the Federal government. Mr. Cobmoosa is a direct descendant of Chief Cobmoosa of the Grand River band of the Ottawa Tribe of Indians. He was a carpenter by trade in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
