Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the starboard side of the Pioneer Steamship Company freighter J.T. HUTCHINSON, under steam. Four figures stand around the pilot house and bow, and two others stand near a hatch by the aft cabin. A small building on a tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background. The image is captioned with the date, "1915." "55-3353-1915," was handwritten on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
