A street car is traveling along the tracks through the center of the thoroughfare; horse carriages are also visible. Several businesses are adjacent to Monroe, those visible include, Juzek Brothers Tailors, Cosmopolitan Restaurant, Nederlander's Loan Office, Detroit Printing Stationery Company, Menter and Rosenbloom Clothing Company, Erlenbach's Millinery, Chop Suey, and the Hotel Ste. Claire. Written on the verso, " 3rd Block, north side Monroe - Farmer to Randolph, 1910."
