Farm Bureau Office Building

Description:

Farm Bureau Center located at 4000 Grand River Avenue North west of Lansing. Built in 1955. It provided nearly an acre of office space for 250 employees of the Michigan Farm Bureau, Farm Bureau Services Inc., Farmers Petroleum, Cooperative, Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company, and Michigan Association of Farmer Cooperatives. Other buildings on the 40 acre Farm Bureau Center were: Farm Bureau Services one story warehouse providing an acre of warehouse facilities, Farm Bureau Services Seed Processig Plant, FBS Lansing Branch elevator, Farmers Petroleum Cooperative Warehouse and garage.
