Reo Fire Engine and Truck Photographs

Description:

A photo album of snapshots (mostly color, some vintage) and a few postcards, showing restored Reo and Diamond Reo fire engines, as well as trucks, lawn mowers, and school buses. Approximately 275 images including about ten 34mm slides, a larger photo print, and correspondence items items in the back pocket of the album. Many of the photographs were taken at vintage-automobile shows; others were exchanged between collectors or purchased from automobile photo dealers. Some have identifying information written on the back sides, or a note with the photo. Locations of the photographs/vehicles are both national and international in nature, not limited to the Lansing area or Michigan. Photographs in this collection have not been digitized.
