Zoning Board of Appeals Slides

Description:

Approximately 500 slides, from the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Division at the City of Lansing. No index or any other descriptive information was included with these slides; the only identifying information comes from viewing the slides and sometimes text written on the slide frames. The slides date from approximately 1963 to 1980. The slides employ a numbering scheme like this: Z-1-YY Presumably "Z" is for Zoning, "1" (and other numbers) represent the particular property or project, and "YY" is the last two digits of the year. Because of this numbering scheme, the slides have been organized by year. A Zoning Procedure brochure from the City Planning Department, dated 1972, is included with this collection. These slides have not been digitized. Contact the library for access.
